You can, but don’t you want them to have a good time?  Its wise to hire vendors for your wedding—including a consultant that can save you worry and let everyone celebrate on your wedding day.

The Association is a membership organization that provides and requires bridal consultants to continue their education each year and promotes only the best bridal consultants.  Veronica acts as NC State Coordinator for the Association.

You should have some agreement in writing.  A formal contract may not be necessary, but a letter of agreement signed by the both of you is more than enough. It should spell the duties for both of you, your wedding date and payment schedule.

A consultant can do as much or as little as you ask.  Before you call or while you are at your first consultation be sure you know exactly what you want your consultant to do. Then he or she can base her time and costs around those needs.
